What Others Say

This past year, the Glovers have watched in amazement as God has taken the pain of their past and used it to bring overwhelming numbers of men and women out of the darkness with years of past secrets.  Their personal testimonies are giving people “permission” to talk about their pain and allowing Jesus to begin a process of healing freedom in their lives.

Quotes from individuals:

“I was driving down the road and this song came on.  What caught my attention was the Hammond organ and I began to listen to the words about how people want to help but can’t because they don’t know HOW to help.  They don’t understand or have never been through what you’ve been through.  Then it talked about life getting to a place where it doesn’t make sense, a man who doesn’t know his own children and turning to a bottle to help you cope.  Then it talked about wanting to take your own life so it would all just be over.  This was my ENTIRE life.  But when the chorus took over about Jesus knowing my pain, I just had to pull over.  I couldn’t drive anymore because of the tears.  I knew if this song affected me like this that if others could hear this song, they could be helped.  So I began to call around to find this song and the lyrics to share it with other people and give them hope.  Just listening to this song gets me through the day because it reminds me that we are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimony.

Clint Walker – West Monroe, LA

“Most people don’t know, but I was raped by three boys when I was a junior in high school. I never told anyone (until I was 23+), I never filed charges and I’ve never had closure. I started working when I was 18 and put my entire identity in my job. In some freakish way, I was always determined that the victims received the best prosecution that they could get so that they could get justice and closure. I just didn’t want them to live the life that I chose to by never receiving justice. I am still praying for God to show me what He wants me to do with these revelations. Hopefully, He will show me what I can do to help others learn from my mistakes.

In the meantime, I listen to your CD every time I drive my car. I love the songs, ‘That’s Grace,’ ‘Hurtin’ People,’ and ‘He’s So Real.’ I just know from reading your testimony, that you too, have had your personal struggles and I know that you have found your peace and closure through God. I hope that I can have the same. You will never know how much you have touched my life. I’m sure you hear this often, but please don’t ever take it lightly. You are a true inspiration for those of us who are still trying to forgive themselves for something that happened that they had no control over.”

Quotes from radio & industry:

Hi!
Hope all is well in your part of the country....keep the great music coming!
You guys are getting a great response from our listeners in southern Ohio as well as the "southern gospel music network" affiliates!

“Wow, wow, wow PRAISE GOD for your Out of the Darkness.  This project has Azusa Street Revival-type anointing all over it.  The songs are liken to mini-sermons perfectly timed for this very moment in time dealing with many of the top strongholds that we have LET the adversary slowly build.  Our country has been desensitized into a very present sate of darkness that has crept up on us, of which this project directly focuses our Jesus’ bright and shining light on, the project being literally a road map to lead our lost and undone brothers and sisters to our awesome, incredible, infallible, LIVING Christ Jesus and His very bright and shining light leading each and every one of them – OUT OF THE DARKNESS.  We are both blown away by the project and are trying to figure out how to air so many of the songs on the project that NEED to be aired.”

Steve & Carolyn-Smokey Mountain Gospel

“In our society, we have so many people who suffer from pain on all levels.  It is clear to me that God has called the Glovers to love those hurting people all across our country.  Their music is touching lives and their heart for God's people is saving souls.”
