Glory Bound

Written by: Eric Horner

Jesus said that where I am you will also be
And one day soon He will return to take those who believe
To the place that He's prepared on the other shore
Where the problems of this earthly life won't matter anymore
Don't look for me when the rapture rolls around cause I'll be glory bound

Chorus
Glory bound- Oh the time is drawing nigh
Glory bound- And we'll bid this world goodbye
When I hear ole Gabriel's trumpet sound I'll be glory bound

Everyday it's in the news we live in troubled times
God's judgment is upon us and we're seeing all the signs
Jesus will appear as the Scriptures have foretold
The dead in Christ shall rise as His glory we behold
What joy when my feet leave the ground cause I'll be glory bound

Hurtin' People

Written by: Del C. Way

In a world of hurtin people who don't know where to go
Some would like to help them, some just don't know
What it's like to feel the pain the wounds of sin have brought along
Like a boy that don't know his daddy cause a marriage has gone wrong

Some think they could end it, take their life with their own hands
A heart so full of questions, a life that makes no sense
Others drown their sorrows, a bottle is where they hide
Hoping to quench the thirst of their pain deep inside

Oh but Jesus knows your pain, His love is reaching out to you
You are the reason He came, just take His hand and He will lead you through

On a hill called Calvary they crucified a man
He shouldn't have suffered, He had no sin
But so many hurtin people were depending on His grace
So on a cross meant for you and me Jesus took our place

Still Holdin' On

Written by: Gerald Douglas Crabb

People said I'd never make, said I'd never see it through
They don't know what keeps me going, I guess they never have met you
You know my life was in shambles until the day you came along
You turned my tears into laughter cause you gave me a brand new song

Chorus
I'm still holdin' on, Lord I'll never let you go
You gave me a smile, you touched my heart and you touched my soul
And the bridges that are behind me, Lord I'll burn them to the ground
I'm still holdin' on cause you're the best thing I ever found

Voted likely not to prosper was left hanging over my head
You'll never count for nothing, you know that's what most people said
Well I've been known to be unsettled, I've never stayed around too long
But Lord you're the treasure I've been searching for and Lord I'm still holdin' on

Behind the Rock

Del C. Way, Daryl K. Williams

The disciples saw Him on the cross, sure looked like the end
Still believing, praying, hoping God would soon step in
They heard Him cry it's finished and He gave up the ghost
The grave was claiming all their dreams, looked like they'd lost everything
They sealed the tomb but little did they know

Chorus
Behind the rock a war was raging for the soul of every man
Behind the rock Jesus was taking the keys from Satan's hand
Behind the rock death and the grave stood defeated and unlocked
As the resurrection power broke out behind the rock

You may be lost and full of doubt, your future is unknown
And just like the disciples you feel like hope is gone
Take courage and remember how the story ends
God will have the final say, He's already made a way
Jesus won our victory over sin

That's Grace

Written by: Steven Randolph Hurte

It's grace when a sinner who's been bound for years
Makes his way to an altar shedding old fashioned tears
And it's grace when you've prayed for one who has strayed
And from out of nowhere he comes home one day

Chorus
That's grace, that's grace, that's God's amazing grace
Flowing from the throne mending hearts and homes
When a royal King stops His royal day to redeem an old sinner, that's grace

It's grace when you're standing in the eye of a storm
With a sweet settled peace that you'll come to know harm
And when you see a saint of God who is passing away
With no fear in their eyes and a smile on their face

Chorus
That's grace, that's grace, that's God's amazing grace
Flowing from the throne mending hearts and homes
When a royal King stops His royal day to redeem an old sinner, that's grace

Grace, grace, God's grace

When a royal King stops His royal day to redeem an old sinner that's grace

Step On Out of the Boat

Written by: Eric Horner

Everyday I hear folks talking about what they believe
How they trust in God with the faith of a mustard seed
They have no doubts until those stormy seas begin to roll
Then they act like they're about to drown, they're all but losing hope
Jesus said you will receive if only you will ask
But if your walk is not your talk then brother you're sinking fast

No you can't use it until you prove it
You've got to let go and let God have full control
Really believing everything you're preaching
If you want to walk on water you'd better step on out of the boat

Daniel knew in the lion's den the Lord was on his side
For an angel came to keep him safe until the morning light
David slayed the giant with one stone because he knew
All he had to do was aim and God would see it through
Faith can free you from your fears but if you haven't guessed
Even the most righteous man must put Him to the test

He's So Real

Written by: Eric Horner

How long has it been since you became my friend
And still you don't know what's inside my heart
It seems we're always joking but we've never really spoken
Of things I should've mentioned from the start
So before time slips away and we lose another day
Let me tell you something I truly believe
Jesus really loves you so much He even died to
Take away our sin and set us free

Chorus
He's so real, so real to me
And I know just where I'll spend eternity
And I want you to be there too
With open arms he waits to welcome you
There's no other way to tell you how I feel than He's so real

I wish you could have seen how much He means to me
In the way I chose to live my life
But I stumbled and I failed so many times you couldn't tell
He was hidden far behind my foolish pride
But when I got down on my knees, His grace poured over me
Forgiveness is a gift He freely gives
And He'll do the same for you if you'll receive the truth
And claim the victory all because He lives

Make Me a Promise

Written by: David Patillo

When God calls my number and it's time to go
I've made preparations I want you to know
I'll be in that number that meets in the air
Make me a promise that you'll meet me there

Chorus
Make me a promise that we'll meet someday
Where mansions are waiting in that land far away
I want you to tell me so I'll know it's true
Make me a promise that you'll be there too

When loved ones have gathered with tears on each face
I'd like to remind them I'm not in this place
I'm already living inside glory land
May God be with you til we meet again

Good God

Written by: David Patillo

A man named Barnamais was beggin by the road
He couldn't see the way to carry his own load
Jesus came a walkin and gave him back sight
And all the darkness left him and he could see the light
I wish I could have been there to see it on that day
I bet you I could tell you what the blind man had to say

Chorus
God is a good God, He's been good to me
God is a good God, He's been good to me
He's never done me wrong, He's always done me right
He brought me out of darkness into His Holy light
God is a good God, He's been good to me

Remember Paul and Silas when they were thrown in jail
They knew they had nobody to come and go their bail
The earth began to tremble, the gates swung open wide
And all who were held captive were free to go outside
I wasn't there to see it but still I know it's true
There's never been a prison gate that my God can't break through

Chorus
God is a good God, He's been good to me
God is a good God, He's been good to me
When I was locked in prison He came and set me free
Broke the chains of darkness that had a hold on me
God is a good God, He's been good to me

Now you may have a problem and you don't know what to do
It seems as if the whole world is falling down on you
Maybe I can't help you but I know one who can
He controls the universe, He made it with His hands
Just like Paul and Silas or the beggar by the way
If you'll just put your faith in Him I know you will say

Chorus
God is a good God, He's been good to me
God is a good God, He's been good to me
He broke the chains of darkness and made my burdens light
He's never done me wrong, He's always done me right
God is a good God, He's been good to me

That's How God Forgives

Written by: Charles Otto Isbell, Zane Darrel King

You say you've turned your back on God and tried to work things out your way
You've tried to heal the hurt inside but the pain won't go away
You may think God cannot forgive you after the kind of life you've lived
But friend I can tell you just how much God forgives

Chorus
When there's a river of wrongs that flows through your mind
And a mountain of faults impossible to climb
When you've lost direction by the way that you have lived
He'll let you start all over, that's how God forgives

You say you've done all you can do and you've found no one who understands
Your dreams just never quite come true and you can't give what life demands
You've walked this road with good intentions but they're swept away by circumstance
Friend I can tell you that He is a God of second chance

I Dreamed I Drove the Nails

The sermon that evening was John 3:16
How they crucified Christ for sinners like me
I wondered what kind of men could be so cruel and mean
And found the answer that night in my sleep.

Chorus
I dreamed I drove the nails
I swung the hammer up on calvary's hill
With His blood on my hands my teardrops fell
Yes I dreamed I drove the nails

Over and over I thought of that dream
And the message that God was sending to me
In that nightmare I share the guilt and the blame
But each nail that was driven bears all of our names

Repeat Chorus

Yes I dreamed I drove the nails

Lout Enough to Wake the Dead

Saints aren't you excited, the time is drawing nigh
When we'll all see Jesus and get up in the sky
We see the signs around us, it could be today
We know the bridegroom's coming to take us all away

Chorus
Gabriel's gonna blow the trumpet
Loud enough to wake the dead
The horn will cry, no power will stop it
Loud enough to wake the dead
Saints will rise up when they hear it
The sound will free both flesh and spirit
Loud enough to wake the dead, loud enough to wake the dead

Brothers start rejoicing, sisters clap your hands.
Just off the horizon awaits the promised land
So start the celebrating no mo need for tears
Just be looking for him when he reappears

I Plead the Blood

When I've fallen down again, I plead the blood
When guilt reminds me of my sin, I plead the blood
When satan comes in like a flood
My God will raise that standard up
Because I know just what to say, I plead the blood

Chorus
I plead the blood oh that Jesus shed for me
I plead the blood that flows from that mercy seat
It's the blood that cleanses me in my desperate hour of need
I plead the blood that Jesus shed for me

There is healing in that stream, when I plead the blood
There is safety there for me, when I plead the blood
When my world comes crashing in
He lifts me up, oh again and again
Cause I know just what to say, I plead the blood.

Repeat Chorus
Tag
Oh, it's the blood that cleanses me in my desperate hour of need
I plead the blood, Oh I plead the blood
Yes, I plead the blood that Jesus shed for me

Someday They're Gonna Rise Up

They broke their backs in the desert sand
Building cities with their own bare hands
All for the glory of old pharoah
Till moses told them let my people go

Chorus
Someday they're gonna rise up
Someday they're gonna rise up, someday, someday
Once they've heard the freedom band
You can't keep them from the promised land, no way, no way

They broke their backs in the cotton fields
They sweat and bled in the cotton mills
All a shack on an old dirt road
Till Abraham told them let the people go

Repeat Chorus
Bridge
Even in the dark of the night
All God's children can still see the light

They build the statue of liberty for all the whole wide world to see
The winds of change were in the air
When they shot em all down in Tiananmen Square

This old world is a slave to sin, there's evil in the hearts of men
But those chains don't shackle me
Cause Jesus died and set my spirit free, yeah

One More Reason to Make Heaven My Home

I gather with loved ones, but tears block my view
You're walking in glory and I'm missing you
But, I know for certain, now that you're gone
You're just one more reason to make heaven my home

Chorus
So look past the tears, there is hope in my eyes
Cause you're in a place with no more goodbyes
My heart looks ahead and one day I'll be gone
You're just one more reason to make heaven my home

You were the reason I learned in my youth
That Jesus was Lord and that Heaven was true
I've made the decision to keep pressin on
You're just one more reason to make heaven my home

I Will Praise You

Lord I don't know about tomorrow or the days that lie ahead
Will they bring me flowers blooming or barren wilderness
I know my days on earth are numbered by the many be they few
Still one other thing I'm sure of, I want to give them all to you

Chorus
And I will praise you in the morn when I awake
And with each breath I take, I'll life you high
I will praise you in the sunshine and the rain
Through the joys and the pain until I die
I want to praise you, I want to praise you

I need to stop for just one moment and thank you for my life
The church that Jesus bled and died for
My children and my wife
It seems I often take for granted the love surrounding me
So with a thankful voice, I will rejoice and let the whole world see

Repeat Chorus
Bridge
I thank you for the laughter, I thank you for the tears
For the rivers of great blessings
I've seen flowing through the years

Repeat Chorus

I want to praise you, I want to praise you, I want to praise you

The Greatest Miracle

Lord you said I could move mountaints with a faith small as a seed
Just say move over yonder and cast them to the sea
Oh of all God's miracles, the greatest I have ever seen
Was the dead in sin raised up, and then a sinner is set free

Chorus

From the deepest depths of darkness a light around me shown
Now dead to sin I'm born again I am one of His own
I'll never quite get over the way He set me free
The greatest miracle of all is when the Lord saved me

I know Peter saw the Lord one day walk on a stormy sea
When Paul He met the Master, three days he couldn't see
Thomas said unless I see the nails prints, I will not beieve
Still the greatest miracle of all is when the Lord saved me

Repeat Chorus

Lost and Found

I was lost as lost could be
Then Jesus came and He rescued me
He touched my eyes and He made them see
He had a special place for me

Chorus

Now you can find me in the lost and found
Spreading His joy and His love around
I gotta tell everybody, gotta tell everyone
That Jesus is Lord, He's God's only son
I was just a sinner out running around
Then Jesus forgave me and placed me in the lost and found

Bridge
If my friends ask you what's happened to me
Just tell them I'm happy cause I've been set free
If they should wonder about where I've been
Just tell them the good news, I've been born again

Repeat Chorus

A Savior Who's Given Life To Me

Darkenss falls up on me, the light's so hard to see
It seems the walls of my life have come crashing around me
I have never felt so empty
My heard is in despair
I'm on my knees in desperation, God, if you're up there

Chorus
Hear this sinner's cry this moment I will give myself to you
I confess my sin, please wash me clean and make me new
Now I'll not fear what waits tomorrow
In thy grace I'll stand and say
You're my hope, your my salvation a Savior who's given life to me

Now a brighter is day is dawning, I have peace and joy within
Chains of sin have fallen, I am saved, i'm born again
Now there's nothing I won't do for you
Here's my life, use me I pray
Let me point someone to Jesus, show His love so they may say...

My strength when I face temptation
King of kings to me you're everything
A savior who's given life, a savior who gave life
A savor who's life to me

Oh Why?

Knowing what the truth was worth
Any other man on earth would have run away
When Judas kissed Him on the cheek
He said I am the one you seek
Let the others go because He loved them so
He could've fooled them easily
But He went with them peacefully

Chorus
Oh why didn't He lie, Oh why did He have to die
Oh why didn't He save His own self
I'll tell you why, He loved you and I

He stood before the highest priest
Knowing He could be released
If He'd just deny that He was the Christ
When they asked Him once again are you the Christ
He said I am God's only son knowing what would come
When they heard how He replied
They said He should be crucified

Repeat Chorus
Tag
I'll tell you why, He loves you and I
